Hello, my name is Yoko U. Nice to meet you. I'm a Japanese student. I am 19 years old. I have never been to foreign country before. This is my first time to go on a home stay. I like Australia, because I love animals very much. I want to hold a koala and I want to contact wild animals. T hese things are my dream since I was a child. So I decided to go Australia.
By the way, how is the climate in Australia? I'm going to go there in summer. The season is summer in Japan. But in Australia where the season is winter, isn't it? Should I bring a lot of clothes? Is the coat also necessary? In Japan, we have snow in winter. I like snow. The snow scene is very beautiful!! And I use to play in the snow with my friends when I was a child. I like to make a snowman and have a snowball fight. It is very fun!! Then, when we have a heavy snow, we make a" Kamakura". This is a small dome made by snow. "Kamakura" is traditional play of Japan. Is there have snow in Australia? I want to play in the snow together. I would like to make a snowman and "Kamakura" and have a snowball fight. But I can't ski. So if you can skiing, please teach me how to skiing.
What kind of Japanese food do you like? I have two Japanese foods which I want you to eat. I'm going to make "Sukiyaki" and "Okonomiyaki". These Japanese foods are easy to cook and very delicious!! Please looking forward to eating it. I want to see you soon.
